About the role The Process Lead is responsible for Developing Bread crumb, improving productivity, ensuring food safety and quality compliance and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses developing new product, inducting new technologies, commissioning new product lines and process development.
Key responsibilities Process & Production Excellence • Lead process optimization initiatives across mixing, baking, drying, grinding, seasoning, packaging, and utility operations. • Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve process capability and stability. • Develop and maintain process standards, work instructions, and SOPs. Continuous Improvement • Identify and coordinate cost-saving projects related to FG, Raw materials, utilities, labor, and packaging. • Lead root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and Pareto Analysis. • Improve line efficiencies and reduce process variability. • Leading teams to execute business transformation projects. New Product & Innovation • New product development and commercialization activities. • Lead plant trials and scale-up activities from pilot to commercial production. • Establish process parameters and product specifications. Engineering & Capital Projects • Participate in equipment selection, commissioning, and validation activities. • Support capacity expansion and process automation projects. • Collaborate with engineering teams on process design improvements.
Qualifications and skills • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology or related field. • Master's degree/MBA preferred. • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred. • 10–15+ years of experience in food manufacturing. • Experience in bakery, breadcrumbs, snacks, cereal, confectionery, or FMCG manufacturing preferred. • Proven track record of delivering productivity, quality, and cost improvement projects.
