About this role
Position Summary We are seeking an AV/Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for end users in a primarily Windows-based environment. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues, supporting conference room technology, and ensuring seamless meeting experiences for employees and leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, hands-on desktop support experience, and a solid understanding of audiovisual technologies. Key Responsibilities Desktop Support
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops, docking stations, printers, and mobile devices. • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues in a timely manner. • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Assist with account administration tasks within Active Directory, including password resets and user account management. • Image, deploy, configure, and replace desktop and laptop hardware. • Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system. • Perform user onboarding and offboarding activities, including equipment setup and deployment. • Manage hardware inventory and maintain accurate asset records. Audio Visual Support
• Provide onsite support for conference rooms, executive meetings, training events, and corporate presentations. • Troubleshoot and maintain AV equipment including: • Microsoft Teams Rooms • Conference room systems • Projectors and displays • Video conferencing equipment • Audio processors, speakers, and microphones • Wireless presentation technologies
• Ensure meeting rooms are operational and ready for scheduled events. • Respond quickly to meeting escalations and live event support requests. • Perform routine testing, maintenance, and firmware updates on AV equipment. • Coordinate with vendors on AV installations, upgrades, and repairs. • Train end users on conference room technology and collaboration tools. Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of Desktop Support and/or AV Support experience. • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments. • Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals. • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams. • Familiarity with Active Directory and user administration. • Hands-on experience with video conferencing and conference room technology. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms. • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms. • Knowledge of AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or AMX. • Experience with audio mixers, DSPs, and presentation systems. • CompTIA A+, Network+, or related certifications. • AVIXA CTS certification preferred. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
