Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionThe Material Handler works in multiple departments within a distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. This role involves operating material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.Responsibilities
• Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas. • Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery. • Verify the quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers. • Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets of products. • Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects, and notify management of inventory issues. • Return misplaced products to proper storage areas. • Maintain a clean working environment in accordance with company safety policies. • Perform inventory control functions as needed. • Refer complex, unusual problems to the supervisor. • Work under general supervision, exercising some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. • Regularly review output with a lead coworker or supervisor. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
