Job Title: General ProductionJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated individuals to join our manufacturing team for the general production role. This position involves visual inspection of cables as they come off the line, tagging broken or dysfunctional wires, and utilizing pallet jacks to move materials through the facility. Additionally, you will assist in other areas of the manufacturing plant, engage in palletizing, packing, moving materials, general cleaning, and help where needed. Essential Skills • Manufacturing experience. • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. • Ability to work overtime. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Machine operating experience is nice to have. • Bilingual skills are advantageous. • Computer savvy and experience in packing and production are beneficial. The environment is fast-paced with a newer supervisory team. The facility includes an inventory area, shipping department, and manufacturing department, utilizing large and older machinery. The work process is unique, with temperature variations being hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Steel-toed boots, long pants, and work-appropriate attire are required. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
