Cleanroom Production OperatorVancouver, WA12-hour Compressed Night Shift, 6pm-6amJob DescriptionThe Production Operator position is set in a fast-paced production environment focused on final inspection and quality control for silicon wafer manufacturing. This role requires working in a cleanroom setting, necessitating operators to wear PPE including a full-body cleanroom gown, safety glasses, face mask, gloves, and chemical apron. The cleanroom is air-conditioned and well-ventilated, though operators may feel warm due to the gown.Responsibilities

• Follow complex, detailed procedures and complete documentation to meet daily targets on time and without defects. • Cross-train and become certified to rotate among multiple process areas including Automated Cleanlines, LPD, Visual Inspection, Lot Compiling, Packaging, and Box Wash. • Ensure polished wafers are processed according to specific customer requirements. • Bend, stoop, squat, lift, and reach to move boxes of wafers. • Push, pull, and guide transport carts through doorways and hallways. • Work all hours, all shifts, and overtime as required or requested. • Stand for long periods within a 12-hour shift. • Work around hazardous and volatile chemicals. • Move objects with up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and between 10-20 lbs. frequently. • Operate robotic or automated equipment to load and unload wafers. • Respond to and troubleshoot tool alarms. • Perform tasks to clean equipment and the area to meet manufacturing process standards. • Monitor, analyze, and verify that all data and processes meet quality specifications. • Use fine motor skills for cassette and wafer handling. • Verify packaging specifications through computerized work orders and visual guides. Essential Skills

• Ability to multitask and monitor the movement of wafers on multiple tool sets simultaneously. • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations and percentage calculations using a calculator or Excel. • Effective communication skills in English. • Ability to read and write technical and informational manuals in English. • Experienced in computer usage, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and similar software. • Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and visual acuity. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High attention to detail and good time management skills. • Basic technical aptitude and comfort using computers. • Prior production experience is a plus but not required. Work EnvironmentWork indoors in a ventilated, climate-controlled cleanroom. Operators may feel hot due to the PPE, which includes a hooded cleanroom suit, safety glasses, face mask, and latex gloves. The role involves exposure to fairly hazardous chemicals. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
