URGENT HIRING!!! ASSEMBLY OPERATOR-1st Shift Available-$20-21/hr. Job Summary The Assembly Operator assembles car lock components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. This role follows standard work instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures to meet daily production goals. The position also supports training team members and continuous improvement activities.Key Responsibilities

• Assemble car lock components according to work instructions and production schedules. • Use assembly kits, hand tools, and power tools to complete builds accurately. • Perform quality inspections, dimensional checks, and product testing. • Use measuring tools such as calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, and pin gauges. • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. • Report production, material, or quality issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor. • Perform basic maintenance and checks on tools and equipment. • Complete required paperwork accurately and on time. • Handle scrap and recyclable materials according to company procedures. • Lift materials up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing. • Support production goals and assist with training other operators as needed. Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience. • Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to read and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures. • Experience performing quality inspections and using precision measuring tools. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and perform repetitive physical tasks. • Basic understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a production environment with hourly production targets. • Ability to read blueprints or assembly drawings. • Experience with complex mechanical assemblies. • Willingness to learn new processes and train others. • Reliable and flexible to work overtime when needed. Work Environment

• Location: San Diego, CA • Schedule: Monday to Friday, First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) • Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required to meet production deadlines. • Manufacturing floor environment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment. • Physically active role requiring standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
