Job Title: General LaborerJob DescriptionThe General Laborer installs safety equipment on a robotics floor by drilling into concrete, extending safety fencing, and precisely bolting together metal frames and workstations. This role supports a fast-paced, loud, and team-oriented environment where you help complete a set number of installations within specific timeframes while maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy workspace in line with company policies and procedures.Responsibilities
• Drill into concrete and securely install safety fencing and metal frames according to precise placement specifications. • Build and assemble metal workstations and inventory shelving units using hand and power tools. • Work as part of a team to complete a designated number of equipment swaps and installations within defined time limits. • Use hand tools such as hammers, rivet guns, and pallet jacks to perform assembly and installation tasks. • Perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving equipment and materials as needed. • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work area and follow all company safety policies and procedures. • Operate in a loud, fast-paced environment while remaining focused on quality, accuracy, and safety. • Follow instructions and measurements to ensure safety equipment and workstations are installed correctly and consistently. • Identify and report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or environmental concerns to appropriate personnel. • Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and support efficient completion of projects. Essential Skills
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools and assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working with a variety of hand tools, including hammers, rivet guns, and pallet jacks. • Experience using power tools for drilling, fastening, and assembly work. • Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure to follow placement and assembly specifications. • Physical capability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during the work shift. • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and materials weighing up to 45 pounds. • General labor experience in construction, production, carpentry, or similar physically demanding roles. • Commercial construction and assembly experience, particularly with metal structures and shelving units. • Strong safety awareness and commitment to following established safety procedures. • Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to consistently report to work on time and ready to perform duties. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to shared goals. • Experience in commercial or warehouse environments involving assembly or installation work. • Work history in carpentry or construction-related trades supporting accurate measurements and structural assembly. • Comfort working in a loud, fast-paced, and occasionally chaotic environment while maintaining focus. • Demonstrated ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and quality. • Strong work ethic, including being safety conscious, dependable, and willing to take initiative. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines in a production or installation setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Little Rock, AR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
