Job Title: Production TechnicianJob DescriptionThe role of a Production Technician involves utilizing various tools such as fasteners, pneumatics/hydraulics, multimeters/Ohm’s law, calipers/micrometers, and torque wrenches. The technician should be able to read work instructions, drawings, and schematics, troubleshoot and disassemble equipment, and put it back together efficiently. The position requires the ability to improve processes, making operations faster or more accurate. Responsibilities • Utilize tools such as fasteners, pneumatics/hydraulics, multimeters/Ohm’s law, calipers/micrometers, and torque wrenches. • Read work instructions, drawings, and schematics accurately. • Troubleshoot and disassemble equipment, and reassemble it efficiently. • Enhance processes to make operations faster or more accurate. • Operate machinery and ensure general production and mechanical assembly tasks are completed. • Conduct inspections and machine operations according to blueprints and schematics. Essential Skills • Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical assembly. • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. • Experience in general labor, production, and machine operation. • Minimum of 1+ year hands-on technical experience in manufacturing, maintenance, trades, auto, military, or vocational fields. • ITAR-eligible and possession of a HS diploma/GED equivalent. • Capability to work all shifts, including weekends, with a reliable mode of transportation. • Physical ability to stand, climb, wear PPE, and lift up to 25 lbs in a loud production environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Bonus: 2+ years hands-on experience. • Experience with MES/ERP systems. • Knowledge of 5-Why analysis and OSHA/forklift operation. • Stable work history with no more than 3 jobs in the past 4 years, unless justified with confidence. Work EnvironmentThis position is based in an indoor, climate-controlled production facility. Multiple shift options are available: A shift from 5:00am to 5:00pm (Sunday - Wednesday), B shift from 5:00am to 5:00pm (Thursday - Wednesday), C shift from 5:00pm to 5:00am (Sunday - Wednesday), and D shift from 5:00pm to 5:00am (Thursday - Wednesday). Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bastrop, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35000.00 - $73000.00/yr.
