Job Title: Utility Clerk – Night ShiftJob DescriptionThe Utility Clerk – Night Shift plays a key role in supporting warehouse and shipping operations by accurately packing aerospace components, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining precise inventory records. Working a 4x10 schedule from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., this position ensures smooth overnight operations, adheres to safety and quality standards, and provides clear communication and handoffs to the day shift team.Responsibilities

• Perform packing of aerospace components and materials according to company and customer specifications, ensuring accuracy, protection, and proper documentation. • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspection of materials, verification against documentation, and accurate labeling and paperwork completion. • Maintain accurate inventory records by performing data entry, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing stock locations to support efficient warehouse operations. • Operate , pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed, following all safety procedures and equipment guidelines (certification preferred). • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all tasks, including proper handling, storage, and packaging of materials. • Use scanning and validation tools to confirm material accuracy, update inventory systems, and support traceability of aerospace components. • Create and apply labels for shipments and inventory items in accordance with internal procedures and customer requirements. • Communicate effectively with day shift teams to ensure continuity of operations, accurate handoffs, and timely resolution of any shipment or inventory issues. • Work independently during the night shift, managing workload and priorities with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines and productivity expectations. • Support general material handling activities, including moving, staging, and organizing products to maintain a clean and efficient warehouse environment. Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent. • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory role preferred. • Experience with data entry for inventory and shipping systems. • Ability to perform scanning and validation of materials and documentation. • Knowledge of inventory control practices and material handling processes. • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred). • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packing, labeling, and documentation. • Strong organizational skills for managing inventory, shipments, and workspace. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision. • Strong computer skills for using inventory, shipping, and labeling systems. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during the shift. • Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or a similar regulated environment is beneficial. • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and documentation requirements. • Comfort working a night shift schedule (4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, 4x10 schedule). • Strong communication skills to support effective handoffs between night and day shift teams. • Ability to follow detailed specifications and work instructions for packing and labeling. • Commitment to safety and quality in all warehouse and material handling activities. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
