Job Title: First Article InspectorJob DescriptionThe First Article Inspector is responsible for performing First Article Inspections (FAI) and preparing complete documentation in accordance with AS9102 standards for both machine shop and weld/fabrication operations. This role focuses on ensuring product quality through thorough inspection activities, accurate documentation, and adherence to established quality control processes.Pay: $40-$50 per hour based on experiencePer Diem: $160/dayEssential Skills
• Direct First Article Inspection (FAI) quality technician experience. • Direct experience working with AS9102 standards and requirements. • Hands-on documentation experience related to FAI and AS9102-compliant work. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and documentation activities. • Familiarity with quality inspection practices in machine shop and weld/fabrication environments. • Ability to work safely around welding operations, mechanical equipment, and industrial environments. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
