Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team as a Machine Operator. This position involves operating CNC, thermoforming, and rotational mold machines. You will be responsible for loading products into machines, adjusting frames, setting up machines, and working closely with the quality department to ensure production approval. Responsibilities • Operate CNC, thermoforming, and rotational mold machines. • Load products into machines and adjust frames to fit plastic sheets. • Run products through conveyors and ovens. • Set up machines according to the size of plastic sheets and cycle time. • Use hand tools to tear down machines and insert new tooling for custom orders. • Troubleshoot problems during the first run of products. • Work independently or with another operator depending on product requirements. • Collaborate with the quality department to ensure production approval. • Assist in various departments as needed, including shipping. • Read and interpret custom work orders and follow production schedules. • Lift up to 40 lbs and use basic shop math. • Participate in routine preventative maintenance on machines. Essential Skills • Experience working in manufacturing. • Ability to read and interpret work instructions. • Capability to lift 30 lbs. • Proficiency in reading a tape measure and basic shop math. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience operating machines is a plus. • Knowledge of machine set up, machine technician tasks, machine repair, tear down, change over, and injection molding. • Familiarity with rotational mold, plastic forming, and thermoforming. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of MACEDONIA, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
