Job Title: Facilities Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team, where you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and basic facilities maintenance including HVAC and other essential duties. Responsibilities • Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs. • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of facilities equipment. • Carry out basic HVAC maintenance and repairs. • Engage in building maintenance activities such as painting, carpentry, and drywall work. • Utilize boom lift or scissor lift for gutter work and other high-reach tasks. • Ensure dock doors are in optimal working condition. • Maintain cleanliness and functionality across all facility areas. Essential Skills • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building/facilities maintenance. • Proficiency in basic HVAC systems. • Knowledge of basic electrical systems. • Skills in carpentry, drywall, and painting. • Experience with boom lift or scissor lift operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with dock doors is preferred. • Ability to clean and maintain facility spaces efficiently. Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes both day and night shifts, with hours ranging from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM for day shifts and 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM for night shifts. Employees may be scheduled for Thursday through Sunday day shifts. The role requires working with various tools and equipment, including boom lifts and scissor lifts, to maintain facility standards. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
