Job Title: Service TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Service Technician, you will maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a diverse range of automotive shop equipment, including automotive lifts, air compressors, exhaust removal systems, air piping, wheel service equipment, lubrication systems, and more.Responsibilities
• Perform scheduled repairs and maintenance on customer-owned equipment. • Complete assigned daily tasks efficiently. • Keep the shop service area clean and organized. • Ensure customer worksites are left neat and professional. • Use provided tools and equipment responsibly. • Supply your own basic mechanic tools. • Submit written parts requests to the appropriate personnel per work order. • Log hours using a company-provided cell phone and mandatory GPS-enabled time-tracking app. • Greet customers cheerfully in person and over the phone. • Address customer inquiries about equipment and repairs. • Report potential customer issues or complaints to managers promptly. • Provide customers with guidance on equipment operation and maintenance. • Share technical expertise with coworkers as needed. • Complete all paperwork legibly, thoroughly, and on time. • Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and management. • Plan efficient travel routes and navigate independently or with a team to job sites. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Marsh, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
