About this role

Job Title: Service TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Service Technician, you will maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a diverse range of automotive shop equipment, including automotive lifts, air compressors, exhaust removal systems, air piping, wheel service equipment, lubrication systems, and more.Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled repairs and maintenance on customer-owned equipment. • Complete assigned daily tasks efficiently. • Keep the shop service area clean and organized. • Ensure customer worksites are left neat and professional. • Use provided tools and equipment responsibly. • Supply your own basic mechanic tools. • Submit written parts requests to the appropriate personnel per work order. • Log hours using a company-provided cell phone and mandatory GPS-enabled time-tracking app. • Greet customers cheerfully in person and over the phone. • Address customer inquiries about equipment and repairs. • Report potential customer issues or complaints to managers promptly. • Provide customers with guidance on equipment operation and maintenance. • Share technical expertise with coworkers as needed. • Complete all paperwork legibly, thoroughly, and on time. • Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and management. • Plan efficient travel routes and navigate independently or with a team to job sites. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
