Hiring For Mechanical Installation Technicians Join our team as a Mechanical Installation Technician where you will be responsible for assembling and installing multiple conveyor lines and a mezzanine in an Amazon facility. This role requires teamwork, precision, and the use of hand and power tools. You will work in small teams to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.Responsibilities
• Assemble and install conveyor lines and mezzanine structures. • Work collaboratively in small teams to ensure safe and precise installation. • Operate hand and power tools effectively. • Work at heights using lifts and platforms as needed. Essential Skills
• 3+ years of experience in conveyor installation, construction labor, millwright, welding, or similar mechanical fields. • Strong proficiency with hand and power tools. • Experience in heavy-duty or industrial construction environments. • Comfortable working at heights and on a construction site. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Mechanical inclination and assembly experience. • Forklift and Aerial Work Platform (AWP) experience, with certification in scissor lifts required before starting. • 1 in every 3 workers needs to have a forklift license. Workers are expected to bring their own tools, including a socket set, wrench set, screwdriver set, hammer, rubber mallet, and other specified tools. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Surrey, BC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
