Job Title: Travel Industrial PainterJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic production team as an Industrial Painter, where you will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing manufactured products using both powder coating and liquid paint systems. You will work with diverse metal components and finished products, ensuring the highest quality, safety, and production standards.Pay: $30/hr $160/day X 7 per diemTraining Schedule: (1st Shift)Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PMCurrently working 10-hour daysMandatory Saturdays based on customer demandPermanent 2nd Shift ScheduleMonday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM30-minute unpaid lunch$1.00/hour shift premium when working 2nd shiftExpected to return to standard 8-hour shifts once 2nd shift is fully establishedResponsibilities
• Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, masking, sanding, or other prep methods. • Apply liquid paint finishes to manufactured products using spray guns and paint booths. • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and proper coverage. • Operate and maintain painting equipment and spray systems efficiently. • Perform touch-up work and rework as needed. • Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all PPE and safety requirements throughout the painting process. Essential Skills
• Minimum of 4 years of industrial painting experience. • Proficiency in liquid paint application. • Ability to prep, paint, and inspect finished products. • Strong attention to detail and quality standards. • Reliable attendance and willingness to work mandatory overtime when required. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with both powder coating and wet/liquid paint systems. • Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. • Knowledge of paint thickness, coverage, and quality inspection processes. • Ability to perform minor equipment adjustments and troubleshooting. • Forklift or material handling experience. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
