Quality Control Technician Sorrento Valley - First Shift - $22/hrJob DescriptionAs a Quality Control Technician, you will operate microscopes, including 3D laser scanning microscopes, to assist the manufacturing team in recording sensor data. Your role will involve assembling, cataloging, imaging, and preparing biosensors for evaluation, as well as preparing solutions for various testing activities. You will be responsible for maintaining, preparing, and calibrating microscopes as needed, and performing incoming inspections for quality control.Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain microscopes, including 3D laser scanning microscopes. • Record sensor data to support the manufacturing team. • Assemble, catalog, image, and prepare biosensors for evaluation. • Prepare solutions for various testing activities. • Perform incoming inspections and quality control of parts. • Conduct repetitive tasks related to pass/fail quality assessments. Essential Skills
• Experience operating microscopes in various environments. • Knowledge of quality assurance and inspection processes. • Ability to work in regulated environments. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Understanding of medical microscopy. • Experience following stringent quality control measures. • Strong documentation skills. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
