• As a Maintenance Technician, you will focus on mechanical systems across CNC machining, industrial washers, heat treat processes, and conveyors lines • You will be working closely with electricians to minimize downtime and maintain a strong preventive maintenance program in a modern, air-conditioned plant Job Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on production equipment, including CNC machines, industrial washers, heat treat systems, conveyors, and assembly equipment to ensure continuous operation • Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including pumps and control valves, identifying root causes of failures and implementing effective repairs • Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, including control valves and conveying systems, testing cylinder seals, and checking fittings and valves for leaks • Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, understanding their function, bearings, and related mechanical components to restore and maintain reliable operation Essential Skills
• At least 7 years of experience working in an industrial setting, preferably in automotive manufacturing or a similar high-volume production environment • Strong hydraulic troubleshooting skills, including understanding how pumps and control valves operate and how to diagnose and correct hydraulic issues • Strong pneumatic troubleshooting skills, including familiarity with air pneumatics, control valves, conveying systems, cylinder seals, and leak detection in fittings and valves Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Port Huron, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.25 - $36.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
