Production Worker - Key Responsibilities & Requirements Position Summary
• Work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. • Support production processes, packaging, palletizing, and material handling activities. • Opportunity to learn different production lines and advance into higher-level manufacturing roles. Key Responsibilities
• Operate on food production lines handling various food products. • Box and stack finished products efficiently. • Load and unload products into production machinery. • Palletize finished goods and securely wrap pallets for shipment. • Handle and move boxes weighing 15-20 lbs. • Feed boxes and materials into production machines. • Open boxes containing empty glass bottles and supply them to production equipment. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the shift. • Adhere to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety standards. Required Qualifications
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor environments. • Ability to lift and move 15-20 lbs regularly. • Comfortable standing and working for 10-12 hour shifts. • Strong teamwork and communication skills. • Ability to work efficiently on high-speed production lines. Preferred Skills
• Experience with pallet jacks. • Knowledge of packaging and palletizing processes. • Familiarity with warehouse and material handling operations. Physical Requirements
• Frequent lifting, stacking, and moving of products. • Continuous standing and walking during shifts. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. • Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks. Growth Opportunities

• Food manufacturing facility with seasonal temperature variations (non-climate controlled). • Exposure to food products and strong aromas, including garlic, jalapeños, salsa, and taco sauce. • Required PPE includes gloves, hair nets, beard nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses. • Steel-toe boots required. • Team-oriented, diverse workforce environment. • Access to lockers and breakroom facilities with microwaves and vending machines. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.25 - $15.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
