Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionThis role involves operating specialized cleaning and production equipment in a controlled environment, performing detailed visual inspections of products, and maintaining accurate production records in line with standard operating procedures. You will support consistent product quality by following established protocols, using microscopes for inspections, and ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently. Responsibilities • Operate specialized cleaning equipment to maintain required particle and cleanliness standards. • Operate, load, and unload production equipment while strictly following standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Perform visual inspections of products, often using microscopes, to verify quality and detect defects. • Carry out routine maintenance on production and cleaning equipment to ensure reliable operation. • Maintain accurate and timely records of production and cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols. • Follow all safety, cleanliness, and quality guidelines in a cleanroom or controlled production environment. • Assist with packing, general labor, unloading, and order picking tasks as needed to support production flow. • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and meet production goals. • Adapt to changing priorities and support overtime, weekend, or alternative shifts when required. Essential Skills • Experience in production, general production, or similar hands-on manufacturing roles. • Ability to work effectively in a cleanroom or controlled environment while maintaining particle standards. • Proficiency in packing, general labor, unloading, and order picking tasks. • Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work and accurate recordkeeping. • Above-average math skills to perform basic calculations related to production tasks. • Above-average communication skills to follow instructions and coordinate with team members. • Average computer skills to enter and maintain production or cleaning records. • Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines. • Willingness and ability to work overtime, weekends, and other shifts temporarily if necessary. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Comfort using microscopes or other magnification tools for detailed product inspection. • Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a manufacturing or cleanroom setting. • Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance under guidance. • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a production team. • Reliability and consistency in following protocols and safety guidelines. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnton, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
