Job Title: ElectricianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling wire, running conduit, and wiring outlets. You will work off of blueprints to install wire harnesses, switches, and light fixtures. Your work will contribute to the construction of commercial rooms where all controls are housed, ensuring no wires are live during installation. Responsibilities • Pull wire and run conduit in commercial settings. • Wire outlets and install switches and light fixtures. • Read and interpret blueprints to execute electrical installations. • Install wire harnesses according to schematics. • Ensure all wiring is installed safely and efficiently. Essential Skills • Proficiency in reading and working off of blueprints. • Experience with pulling wire and running conduit. • Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial electrical work. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Familiarity with bending conduit and electrical assembly. • Apprentice-level knowledge of electrical systems installation. Work EnvironmentYou will work in an industrial/manufacturing environment, with hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm. Occasionally, Saturday mornings may be required. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
