Job Title: 3rd Shift Maintenance SupervisorShift/Pay
• Shift: 9:30PM - 6:30AM • Pay: $70,000k - $80,000k (Salary) Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise 3rd shift maintenance operations in a union environment, balancing hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities. • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and repair work on 200–300 foot roll mills and associated equipment, including stamping presses, welders, rollers, and cut-off machines. • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to minimize downtime and maintain safe, reliable operation. • Oversee the Tool & Die department, providing direction and support to two tool & die team members. • Supervise two additional maintenance technicians, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and ensuring completion of maintenance tasks. • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to support high-volume production schedules and established manufacturing processes. • Communicate effectively with production and engineering personnel to address equipment issues and plan maintenance interventions. • Apply maintenance management practices to organize work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and repair documentation. • Provide leadership, coaching, and discipline when necessary, addressing attendance and performance issues in a fair and consistent manner. • Promote safe work practices and adherence to company policies and procedures within the maintenance and tool & die teams. • Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and overall production performance. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Angola, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
