ABOUT THE TEAM The Global Efficiency Operations (GEO) team is a strategic function within OpenText responsible for driving end-to-end revenue process excellence across the company's worldwide Deal Desk and Sales Operations. Operating across all regions — Americas, EMEA, and APJ — GEO leads a portfolio of transformation programs including deal process standardization, AI-enabled workflow automation, CPQ modernization, advanced analytics, and financial modelling tooling. GEO works at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Operations, and Technology — partnering with regional deal desk managers, sales leadership, finance, and IT to simplify and accelerate the way OpenText does business. YOUR IMPACT This is a high-impact senior individual contributor role for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems through a combination of financial analysis, data, automation, AI, and process transformation. You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT to simplify processes, improve decision-making, and deliver scalable solutions across a global organization. YOU ARE GREAT AT
• Develop sophisticated financial models and deal-level analysis supporting pricing, margins, profitability, SSP, and revenue recognition. • Lead business analysis and process transformation initiatives, including CPQ modernization, deal-process standardization, and AI-enabled workflows. • Design and implement automation using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Fabric. • Identify and develop opportunities for AI agents and agentic workflows to automate Deal Desk activities and improve operational efficiency. • Build dashboards and analytical solutions that turn complex data into clear, actionable business insights. • Use Python and/or SQL to extract, transform, analyse, and automate data across Salesforce and internal platforms. • Model and improve end-to-end business processes using BPMN 2.0 or equivalent methodologies. • Support CPQ and Salesforce enhancements, ensuring technology solutions align with financial and operational requirements. • Lead assigned workstreams, manage stakeholders, and translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Financial Analysis, or a related function within a global technology organization. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline. • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel/VBA expertise. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power BI, Power Automate, and/or Power Apps. • Strong Python skills for data analysis, automation, and process improvement; SQL experience is an advantage. • Practical experience with AI and automation technologies, such as AI agents, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, or equivalent platforms. • Working knowledge of CPQ, Salesforce, Deal Desk, pricing, and revenue processes. • Strong business analysis and process improvement capabilities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, solution design, and functional specifications. • Proven experience leading projects or workstreams and collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial, technical, and operational topics into clear business recommendations. • A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-changing global environment.
