As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Partner, Early Careers plays a critical role in shaping McCain's future talent pipeline across North America. This is not a traditional recruiting role. You will lead high-volume hiring for interns, co-ops, and rotational programs while bringing our campus strategy to life through university partnerships, exceptional candidate experiences, and workforce-aligned hiring plans. You will also build and manage our intern and rotational talent conversion pipeline, partnering with business leaders to move high-performing talent into future opportunities. Outside of peak campus recruiting seasons, you will support broader corporate, plant, and manufacturing hiring needs. This unique blend of campus strategy, high-volume recruiting, talent pipeline development, and enterprise recruiting makes the role highly visible and impactful. This position is based in our Oakbrook, IL corporate office, with a minimum of three days per week onsite. What you’ll be doing.
• Lead early-careers recruitment. Own full-cycle, high-volume hiring for interns, co-ops, and McCain’s full-time rotational programs across North America. • Shape campus strategy. Partner with business and execute the campus recruitment strategy by participating in and supporting the coordination and candidate flow of events and employer-brand activities. • Grow the conversion pipeline. Manage the internal pipeline for returning interns, co-ops, and rotational talent, supporting timely decisions and connections to future opportunities. • Deliver an exceptional hiring experience. Build diverse talent pipelines, assess candidates, advise hiring managers, and manage offers with transparency and care. • Flex across Talent Acquisition. During non-peak campus periods, recruit for corporate, plant, manufacturing, and other priority roles across the North America TA portfolio. • Strengthen operations and results. Maintain accurate activity in SuccessFactors and Phenom, share progress with stakeholders, use data and feedback to improve outcomes, and contribute to TA projects and best practices. What you’ll need to be successful.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience in a corporate environment; agency experience is an asset • Demonstrated experience leading campus, early-careers, high-volume, or program-based recruitment; rotational program recruitment experience is an asset • Ability to translate workforce needs into proactive sourcing, campus, and pipeline strategies • Experience building trusted relationships with candidates, hiring leaders, HR partners, and external university or community partners • Strong interviewing, assessment, influencing, consultation, and offer-management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities, locations, stakeholders, deadlines, and recruiting cycles while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology; SuccessFactors and Phenom experience is an asset • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience About the team. USD annually + Bonus eligibility The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
