Job Title: Project ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support construction projects at a major campus. This role focuses on the commercial and financial management of projects, rather than day-to-day field operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, forecasting, change orders, contract administration, cost tracking, pay applications, subcontractor financial management, and project financial reporting. You will work closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Operations teams to ensure successful project execution while maintaining overall financial performance.Responsibilities
• Manage project budgets and financial forecasting. • Handle change orders and contract administration. • Track costs and manage pay applications. • Oversee subcontractor financial management. • Prepare project financial reports. • Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Operations teams. • Ensure financial performance and profitability of projects. Essential Skills
• Strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing). • Experience managing construction project financials. • Experience pricing and negotiating change orders. • Ability to evaluate cost implications of RFIs. • Proficient in managing budgets, forecasts, commitments, and project exposures. • Experience with subcontractor financial management and contract administration. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of Project Management experience. • Strong MEP construction experience required. • Experience with large-scale commercial, data center, or semiconductor projects. • Intel experience is highly preferred. • Experience working for a General Contractor is preferred. Own the financial and commercial execution of highly technical MEP scopes. Work alongside experienced project teams on complex mission-critical construction projects. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
