The Program Integration PMO Lead acts as the central coordinator and governance leader for strategic manufacturing expansion and factory readiness programs. This role involves integrating cross-functional workstreams including Operations, Manufacturing, Facilities, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and Digital Technology to ensure the successful execution of major capital investment and capacity expansion initiatives. The position requires driving executive governance, schedule control, budget management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment through structured reporting, dashboards, and decision-making forums. The Program Integration PMO Lead ensures that project workstreams are aligned with program objectives, milestones, budget commitments, and operational readiness requirements.Responsibilities
• Lead program governance structures, meeting cadences, decision forums, and stakeholder communication plans. • Coordinate executive reviews, steering committee updates, ELT presentations, and all-hands reporting. • Drive accountability across multiple workstreams and functional teams to achieve program objectives. • Maintain decision logs and facilitate timely resolution of critical issues, obstacles, and escalations. • Ensure alignment between executive leadership, site leadership, and functional teams. • Maintain integrated master schedules across manufacturing, facilities, equipment, supply chain, staffing, and technology workstreams. • Identify critical-path activities and proactively manage schedule risks. • Establish milestone tracking systems and recovery plans for schedule deviations. • Monitor daily project progress and provide visibility into delays, impacts, and containment actions. • Coordinate interdependencies across functional teams to keep execution aligned with program timelines. • Manage CapEx and OpEx forecasts across program workstreams. • Track budget commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and variances. • Develop executive-level financial reporting and budget performance dashboards. • Support capital appropriation requests and investment reviews. • Partner with Finance to ensure spending aligns with approved program objectives and business targets. • Establish and maintain program risk registers and mitigation plans. • Quantify risks, evaluate impacts, assign mitigation owners, and drive closure. • Facilitate escalation of critical issues requiring executive intervention. • Manage program scope changes, assumptions, baseline adjustments, and governance approvals. • Develop contingency plans to minimize business and operational impacts. • Serve as the primary integration point among Operations, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Digital Technology, Engineering, Finance, Facilities, and Manufacturing teams. • Drive alignment of equipment readiness, facility readiness, staffing plans, operational readiness, and launch activities. • Track and resolve resource constraints affecting program execution. • Facilitate communication and coordination between internal stakeholders and external partners. • Ensure all workstreams remain aligned to factory readiness and production launch objectives. • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPI tracking, and program health reporting. • Prepare concise leadership presentations highlighting status, risks, actions, decisions, and financial performance. • Generate progress reports that provide actionable insights for leadership decision-making. • Communicate program performance metrics and overall readiness status to executive stakeholders. • Support strategic planning and scenario analysis related to manufacturing expansion initiatives. Essential Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale manufacturing, capital projects, facilities, factory expansion, or operational readiness programs. • 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional project teams and executive-level stakeholders. • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, risk registers, and governance processes. • Experience developing executive presentations, dashboards, and program reporting metrics. • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and program governance frameworks. • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive execution in complex, matrixed organizations. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience supporting greenfield and brownfield manufacturing programs. • Experience within HVAC, industrial manufacturing, automation, capital equipment, or advanced manufacturing environments. • PMP, PMI-ACP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification. • Experience coordinating factory readiness, capacity expansion, or production launch initiatives. • Familiarity with enterprise project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, SAP, or similar systems. • Experience supporting executive steering committees and strategic investment programs. Work EnvironmentThis position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Charlotte required (less than 20%). Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
