Sr HR Analyst

Position Description: Under the direction of the Sr. Director Benefits & Records, the Sr HR Analyst supports strategic and operational HR initiatives through data analysis, reporting, records management, data integrity, and process improvement. This position serves as a key resource for HR data alignment, workforce reporting, compliance requirements, and stakeholder support. The analyst develops and maintains reports, ollaborates with deprtments to identify reporting needs and supports HR projects that improve data integrity and operational effectiveness.

Primary responsibilities for this position include accurate reporting, data alignment, and strategic end-user support. The ideal candidate possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and a high level of detail.

Major/Essential Functions: • Develop, maintain, and analyze HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to support operational and strategic decision-making. • Create reports and analyses using Cognos, Power BI, Banner, and other reporting and analytical tools. • Analyze workforce data to provide informational and useful HR metrics. • Collaborate with HR leadership and institutional stakeholders to identify reporting needs and develop solutions that support business objectives. • Monitor and make process change recommendations that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and alignment across HR systems and reporting platforms. • Support data governance initiatives and participate in efforts to improve data quality and standardization. • Assist with responding to open records requests by gathering, validating, and providing requested information in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies. • Participate in cross-functional projects involving process improvements, system implementations, workflow enhancements, and data migrations. • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve reporting and data-related issues. • Document reporting processes, business requirements, and data definitions to support consistency and knowledge sharing. • May serve as backup support for other HR areas. • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications: • Current TTUHSC Human Resources Employee. • Human Resources experience within an HR department for a large organization, institution of higher education, or healthcare setting. • State of Texas reporting in a higher education setting. • Experience with Banner, Cognos, PowerBI or other analytical software.

Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field. Three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.

Visa Information: TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott.
