Opportunity Overview: The Legal Administrative Assistant II plays a critical role in accelerating the effectiveness of the Legal Division by providing high-level executive support, operational coordination, and trusted partnership to senior leaders. Success in this role requires sound judgment, discretion, initiative, strong organizational discipline, and the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and drive work forward in a dynamic leadership environment. What You'll Do: • Provide executive-level administrative support to senior Legal Division leaders, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and support for divisional obligations and external engagements. • Anticipate priorities, resolve scheduling and logistical conflicts, and proactively manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment. • Partner with the General Counsel's Office and Legal Division administrative team to ensure leaders remain informed of commitments, follow-ups, deadlines, and emerging priorities. • Handle highly confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. • Track and communicate progress on key initiatives, action plans, deliverables, and leadership priorities. • Conduct research and synthesize information to support leader decisions, recommendations, and communications. • Coordinate with cross-functional partners to gather information, prepare materials, and support successful execution of team objectives. • Manage a high volume of communications, including drafting correspondence, presentations, reports, and other leadership-ready materials.

Position Requirements: What You'll Need:

• 4-6 years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably at the C-suite level. • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe Pro. • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and technology to improve productivity, streamline workflows, synthesize information, and support effective communication. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing professional correspondence, presentations, and executive-facing materials. • Ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and build effective relationships with leaders and business partners. Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.

Salary Information: Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism.
