The Electronic Combat Solutions Sustainment Center is seeking a uniquely qualified and motivated Engineering Assistant IV in a growing, state of the art factory supporting Customer Field Returns.

Join the Manufacturing team at our state-of-the-art Merrimack Sustainment Center, supporting the warfighter and keeping them mission capable. The Engineering Assistant IV role includes a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following: Air Vac, Metcal and Leister hot pen rework, Nordson/Dage X-Ray machines, Camalot/Nordson Asymtek.

Required Skills and Education: • High School Diploma • Active Secret Clearance • 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing or Operations—soldering and hand assembly of printed circuit board devices including: BGA’s, QFN’s, and various bottom termination components • Fine pitch hand soldering experience • Ability to interpret engineering drawings • Active J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification • Strong communication skills and the ability to support engineering on various projects • Experience operating manufacturing equipment used in printed wiring board production and rework • Strong commitment with regard to adhering to company policies and quality standards
Preferred Skills and Education: • Experience using Air-Vac hot gas rework systems • Familiarity with rework tools such as Metcal and Leister hot pen rework systems • Experience using Nordson/Dage X-Ray machines • Working knowledge of dispensing equipment; Camalot/Nordson Asymtek • Certified to IPC-7711/7721
