In this Product Line IT Lead opportunity, you will make impact in the following ways;
Assist the IT & Security Business Partner with creating IT product roadmaps that meet both immediate and future product line needs
Direct and synchronize every IT activity within the Product Line —including project delivery, operations & maintenance (O&M), and break/fix support—to ensure seamless, reliable, and mission aligned technology services
Oversee and mentor product line Systems Administrators, delivering strategic direction, performance management, and day-to-day guidance to ensure the team meets operational and business objectives
Deliver first line technical guidance to product line Systems Administrators, handling escalated incidents, troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues, and ensuring the stability and performance of all line specific environments
Promote inventive problem-solving, high-performance standards, and ongoing improvement to deliver cost effective, reliable solutions
Provide IT expertise while collaborating with the IT & Security Business Partner and other PL leads on all IT related budget matters, encompassing capital forecasting requests and ensuring staffing levels remain appropriate
Recruit, nurture, and retain high-performing, diverse talent that fosters a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and mission driven innovation
** We are hiring for multiple Lead positions that will align to a Product Line. Dependent on what Product Line you are selected for can determine actual physical location of the position.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement toperform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education: • An active DoD Secret Clearance • Security + Certification, or attain within 90-days of hire • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or other related field, with 8+ years relevant work experience; or 12+ years of experience with a High School diploma • Understanding of BAE Systems’ business areas and product lines • Knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations • Understanding of programming, computer science and digital security • Supervisory and / or management experience leading people and projects • A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills • Problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills • Leadership and conflict management skills • Customer service and interpersonal skills • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs, requirements, and technical challenges • Attention to detail • Project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization • Occasional off-hours/weekend support required when critical and/or production down events occu
Preferred Skills and Education: • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or other related field with 8+ years of relevant experience • Top Secret security clearance • In-depth knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills • Comprehensive understanding of programming, computer science and digital security • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills • Advanced leadership and conflict management skills • Customer service and interpersonal skills • Excellent attention to detail • Superior project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization
