Trainer - Production III

We are looking for a detailed oriented Production Trainer to add to our growing team. Supporting our assembly team, the Space Production Trainer facilitates on-the-job training for our Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) area. This person will train assemblers on a variety of skills including but not limited to hand soldering of thru-hole and surface-mount components, bonding, and mechanical assembly. The trainer will work on a growing team in a work environment that is focused on quality, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction. This job requires working under a microscope. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Training assemblers in soldering, bonding, mechanical assembly. • Training assemblers on ERP and work instruction systems. • Providing feedback on workmanship to assembly team. Working closely with the supervisor on operator proficiency and identifying areas of improvement. • Aiding in new hire onboarding process. • Developing and maintaining a training strategy for a growing team. This may include creating training material and verifying successful training through random assessments. • Assembling product.

Required Skills and Education: • High School Diploma or GED Required • Ability to pass a VAST (Visual Acuity Test) • J-STD-001 certified • Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills and Education: • IPC-610-A certified • Experience working with Factory Logix, Oracle MRP/ERP System, Windchill, APEX, and Microsoft Office applications • Previous CCA build experience • Certified Trainer or related Training Experience
