Job Description: BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator.
Responsibilities include: • Administration of SecureView Management Server (SVMS) • Imaging cross-domain workstations, laptops and other end point machines • Migrating user profile and deploying the device as per the schedule • Network configuration and management • Data storage and troubleshooting • System integration, monitoring, and security • IT infrastructure design, creating new OS images, and disaster recovery • Interface with local customers and provide IT related support • Perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates and system configuration changes • Attend planning and requirement meetings with Program Management Office, Program Managers and customers • Identify, analyze, report, and resolve problems in accordance with program specific plan or process as requested by the Government • Assist site personnel in writing Problem Reports (PR) and Change Requests (CR) • Provide emergency site support as needed to maintain the operational capability of Government designated systems • Install and test Government approved hardware (HW) and software (SW) upgrades to designated systems • Install operating system and database management system changes for designated systems • Provide support during exercises and special contingency situations required to maintain designated systems in operational status • Perform HW configuration reviews for SW releases • Assist in maintaining internal system and database management tables and data • Provide on the job familiarization for site personnel for Government designated systems • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Education: • Linux administration • Security+ Cert or CISSP • Network+ • Virtualization - eg. VMWare, Citrix, Xen • Windows 10 administration/troubleshooting • VDI (VMWare Horizon View or Citrix XenDesktop) engineering and support experience • Posses excellent oral and written communication skills and effectively communicate details with all levels of management • IT diagramming skills, eg. Visio • Time management, project management, independent worker • Virtual private networking - for example Cisco VPN

Preferred Skills and Education: • BS Degree in Computer Science or related field • CCNA certification • Familiarity with current cross-domain technologies • Familiarity with Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) • Experience in an agile software development environment • Experience with Microsoft Windows OS (server and client), UNIX, Linux, scripting • Experience with Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Office, SharePoint, Outlook • 8+ Years in IT Engineering
