In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you’ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

The AC&S Product Line (PL) IT & Security Business Partner is an engaged member of AC&S leadership team within the C4ISRS Business Area (BA), developing and overseeing IT & Security plans, projects, and service delivery support to achieve integrated business plans. As a PL leadership team member, this individual is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships across stakeholder organizations to deliver timely solutions and efficient services to meet explicit and implicit needs of the business. They will report to the C4ISRS IT & Security Business Partner and work closely with the other Product Line Business partners on the team.

The IT & Security Business Partner: • Serves as a member of the PL Leadership Team, aligning IT & Security strategies with overall product line goals • Collaborates with IT & Security PL leads to optimize IT & Security performance in support of PL Objectives and Plans • Advocates for IT & Security interests, priorities, and shortfalls across the IT & Security organization • Assures IT & Security Service Delivery to the PL with alignment to the Business Area BP • Defines, prioritizes, and represents IT & Security related program and project initiatives for the product line • Participates in the direction of PL strategic plans and leads associated IT & Security teams to develop and execute on product line objectives • Engages business stakeholders, program managers, and program directors, to understand IT & Security requirements and priorities • Understands market directions and challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues • Gathers product line requirements and aligns on scope, expectations, and timelines by conducting meetings with IT & Security product line staff and facilitating large group/cross-functional sessions with program management • Assists in providing early forecasts of high-level future product line business directions to IT & Security functional counterparts and relevant IT organizations • Communicates product line business needs with appropriate IT service centers and/or Security representatives internal to BAE Systems, and across Sectors, to gain alignment between business needs and outcomes • Identifies IT & Security functional challenges and supports continuous improvement initiatives • Promotes cybersecurity compliance without significant impact on business operations • Maintains up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and forms recommendations for implementing new/upgraded systems, technologies and/or processes in the IT and or Security domains ensuring compliant and modernized capabilities are deployed ​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education: • Active Secret Clearance, Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience. • Ability to work across multiple functions / organizations and build trusted working relationships • Business acumen and working level experience in support of business operations • Knowledge of IT industry standard service delivery, operations, processes, standards, tools, and capabilities with a focus on infrastructure and project management • Track record of identifying, developing and implementing IT and Security systems, people, and process improvements to improve business performance • Experience interpreting and enforcing government and company security policies and providing direction and guidance to personnel • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills and adapt seamlessly to an ever-changing technology and security environment • Demonstrated record of managing internal and external (supplier) stakeholders • Acumen in operational planning, project management, business finance, and IT Service Delivery • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills— ability to communicate effectively at leadership levels with a focus on delivering value and business outcomes • Self-directed, proactive, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task • Ability to handle conflict and resolve difficult situations • Understanding of ICD 705, TEMPEST, and classified facility policy and procedure associated with NISPOM, SAP and SCI facilities • Understanding of DoD Security (physical/cyber/industrial) principles and integration; both classified and unclassified • Background and knowledge of working in closed or classified environments

Preferred Skills and Education: • Demonstrated record of capturing and developing business requirements to support the development of technical solutions • Program/Project Management and oversight • Ability to carry out data analytics to identify opportunities for efficiencies and innovation • Industry Specific standard certifications, i.e. Security+, DoD Security certifications, and ITIL Foundations • Master’s degree in a related field
