Your mission <p style="margin-left:0px;"><br></p><p style="margin-left:0px;"><span style="font-size:15px;">Strategic programmes and institutional partnerships are an important element of Kreios Space’s growth strategy. They support the development and maturation of our technologies, strengthen our industrial and research ecosystem, and enable us to deliver ambitious projects with leading partners.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0px;"><span style="font-size:15px;">As <strong>Senior Public Funding & BidManager</strong>, you will play a critical role in aligning Kreios Space’s technology roadmap with <strong>well-structured, high-impact strategic initiatives and competitive project proposals</strong>.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0px;"><span style="font-size:15px;">Working alongside the Head of Strategic Projects, you will coordinate the full lifecycle of Kreios Space’s participation in relevant European, national and institutional programmes: monitoring the external landscape, assessing strategic opportunities, shaping project concepts, coordinating proposals and supporting the effective delivery and reporting of awarded projects.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0px;"><br></p><h2 style="margin-left:0px;"><span style="font-size:15px;"><strong>What you will do</strong></span></h2><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Lead <strong>pu<span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">blic funding proposals end-to-end</span></strong><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">, from opportunity assessment and project structuring to submission and nego</span>tiation.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Build compelling proposals that translate Kreios Space’s technology roadmap into <strong>strong, credible and impactful projects</strong>.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Define and optimise <strong>project budgets, eligible costs, funding rates, resources, subcontracting and co-funding</strong>, working closely with Finance.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Coordinate all required inputs from engineering, Finance, partners and other stakeholders while keeping the internal workload focused and efficient.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Take ownership of <strong>awarded projects</strong>, including amendments, reporting, financial and technical justification, audits and interactions with funding authorities.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Manage several funding opportunities and projects simultaneously, identifying risks early and ensuring that projects remain compliant, well documented and successfully delivered.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Support the Head of Public Funding in evaluating opportunities and continuously improving the company’s project pipeline and approach.</span></li></ul><h2 style="margin-left:0px;"><br></h2> Your profile <h2 style="margin-left:0px;"><br></h2><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit;"><strong>5+ years of experience in public R&D funding, grants or innovation funding</strong>, ideally within an R&D consultancy or technology company.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Proven experience <strong>leading complex funding proposals and awarded projects independently from beginning to end</strong>.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Strong knowledge of European and Spanish funding programmes, ideally including <strong>ESA, European Commission and CDTI</strong> or equivalent institutions.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Strong financial understanding of funded projects, including <strong>budgeting, eligible costs, funding rates, financial justification and audits</strong>.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Ability to understand complex technical projects and turn them into <strong>clear, competitive and financially robust proposals</strong>.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Highly autonomous, organised and comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and funding processes simultaneously.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Professional proficiency in <strong>English and Spanish</strong>.</span></li></ul><h3 style="margin-left:0px;"><strong>Nice to have</strong></h3><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Experience working with <strong>deep-tech, aerospace, space, defence or other technology-intensive R&D projects</strong>.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Previous experience managing <strong>European collaborative projects or international consortia</strong>.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit;">Technical or engineering background.</span></li></ul>
