About this role
OVERVIEW The analytics team at TransPerfect is responsible for servicing reporting requests from both internal and client users. We are responsible for connecting to production systems’ data stores, creating ETL flows that publish the results to a variety of destinations, and building visualizations from the resulting data. DESCRIPTION Design, build, and maintain Python-based data pipelines in Snowflake to service the reporting needs of clients and internal teams Write and optimize complex, high-performing SQL against large, multi-client datasets Translate reporting requirements and raw data requests into robust, production-grade data flows Build data flows that combine data from a variety of data sources, including MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Sharepoint, AWS, Azure, Excel, XML, JSON, REST APIs, and log files Troubleshoot failed data flows and resolve in a timely manner to reduce impact on production activities Identify areas for performance improvements in existing, long-running data flows Troubleshoot, fix, or enhance data workflows created by other team members Build Snowflake Streamlit applications as needed to support internal data workflows
