Salary: £49,000 - 89,000 per year
Requirements: Extensive leadership experience in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics, with proven success in building and scaling high-performing teamsDemonstrated track record of defining and delivering AI strategies and solutions at scale within complex, enterprise environmentsStrong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including external stakeholders and clientsExperience operating across both strategic and hands-on domains, contributing to innovation while leading delivery of production-grade solutionsDeep understanding of governance, compliance, and working within regulated environments, with experience establishing AI governance or model risk frameworksExceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver impactful outcomesExperience in financial markets, trading, or trade surveillance environmentsFamiliarity with product development lifecycles and SaaS-based technology platformsExposure to enterprise AI governance, risk, or regulatory functions Responsibilities: Define and execute the AI strategy and roadmap for Nasdaq Trade Surveillance, ensuring alignment with product and business prioritiesPartner with Product Management and Engineering to translate strategic vision into scalable AI-enabled capabilities across detection, investigation, and automationAct as a senior AI leader across the organization, influencing stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Sales while representing AI capabilities to clients and external audiencesLead and scale a high-performing, multidisciplinary team spanning AI Engineering, Data Science, and Research, fostering a culture of innovation and excellenceEstablish robust, production-grade AI practices, including model deployment, monitoring, explainability, and governance aligned with enterprise standardsDrive integration of AI into core surveillance workflows, ensuring scalable, compliant solutions that strengthen our ability to detect and investigate market abuse Technologies: AISupportMachine Learning More:
