Salary: £100,000 - 130,000 per year
Requirements: Proven experience in Delivery/Project Management roles, with evidence of collaborative working.Recent experience supporting IT/Software/Cyber projects in Government or similar organisations.Experience in a Defence or Cyber environment.Working knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile Project Management (APM) and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).A degree of responsibility and knowledge within the account, setting strategy and defining process, and influencing decisions.Skills in influencing and negotiation methods and techniques.An adaptive style with the ability to communicate technical ideas in simple terms to multiple stakeholders.Must hold and maintain UK Government clearances. Responsibilities: Provide financial guidance, tasking, understanding and advice across specialist deliveries relevant to the customers mission.Manage the financial aspects of projects, including risk and cost mitigation for delivery.Support project profitability and identify opportunities to increase profitability.Deliver projects within contracting constraints, including time, budget and quality for T&M and FP contracts.Support team performance from both a customer deliverable and commercial perspective.Build and maintain a high-performing team, ensuring motivation, collaboration and effective working.Maintain delivery momentum by keeping the team focused on current project priorities.Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team.Coach and mentor team members in the use of agile and lean tools and techniques.Use customer relationships to identify potential new opportunities.Identify and develop research and development opportunities and feed them to the Account Leads.Support organic growth within the allocated project.Work with technical subject matter experts to understand customer problems and recommend appropriate existing or new capabilities.Use knowledge of key senior stakeholder relationships to contribute to the company strategy.Manage project closedown, including performance reviews, lessons learned, and reuse or creation of artefacts to improve processes. We are seeking a Delivery / Project Manager for our Cheltenham office to work within a delivery team. This is an operational role that requires knowledge of project and delivery management tools and techniques, along with an understanding of the customers domain to help improve ways of working and support solution development. In this role, we provide financial guidance, tasking, and advice across specialist deliveries aligned to the customers mission. The position is based in the United Kingdom-Cheltenham, is full time, and involves travel for 10% of the time. Salary is 55,700 to 83,500.
