Requirements: We are looking for talented engineers who are passionate about Operational Technology and enjoy solving complex technical challenges.We ideally have experience in SCADA, PLC, ICA or industrial automation environments.We ideally have experience with AVEVA System Platform/Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, Iconics or similar technologies.We ideally have experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems.We ideally have experience with industrial communications and OT networking.We ideally have experience troubleshooting critical operational systems.We ideally have experience working with operational stakeholders and translating technical issues into practical solutions.We stand out if we have experience within water, utilities, manufacturing, energy or other process industries.We stand out if we have experience supporting industrial control system projects or major system upgrades.We stand out if we have understanding of network design, redundancy and resilience technologies. Responsibilities: We are responsible for maintaining and enhancing site-based SCADA systems across our wastewater operations estate.We support and maintain critical SCADA platforms including AVEVA System Platform/Wonderware, FactoryTalk View and Iconics.We ensure high levels of system availability, resilience and security across operational sites.We troubleshoot and resolve faults involving SCADA systems, HMIs, PLCs and communications infrastructure.We deliver upgrades, patches and improvements that keep systems secure and reliable.We support disaster recovery planning and business continuity arrangements.We work closely with operations teams to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.We provide technical input into capital delivery and OT improvement projects.We champion OT change management, risk management and cybersecurity best practice.We act as a subject matter expert, sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues across the wider OT community. This is a hybrid role based in Guilford, working 36 hours Monday to Friday with participation in an on-call rota.
