Salary: £48,000 - 76,000 per year
Requirements: Several years of experience developing and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET and C#.Experience integrating with SQL databases, including query optimisation and performance tuning.Front-end development experience would be an advantage but is not essential, such as Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.Some knowledge of SQL and relational database technologies.Confident managing software development lifecycles.Proven ability to contribute to and improve development standards and coding practices.Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and processes.Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.Experience working with Azure DevOps, including configuration and administration, would be desirable.Professional .NET certifications would be advantageous but are not essential.Degree-qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent commercial experience. Responsibilities: Support development projects from inception through to successful delivery.Proactively resolve support tickets, BAU activities and maintenance tasks.Support the more senior members of our team to develop new systems and processes.Support development project progress and ensure agreed deadlines are achieved.Ensure support requests are resolved within agreed service levels.Oversee the timely completion of BAU activities, including statements, bonuses and interest-related processes.Coordinate and deliver ongoing maintenance activities, including software updates, application enhancements and technical debt reduction.Continue with professional and technical development.Produce and maintain documentation for systems, applications and internal processes.Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and workflows, proposing practical solutions where appropriate.Analyse support trends and recurring issues, recommending improvements to reduce inefficiencies and improve system performance.Participate in an on-call support rota (one week in four) for escalated issues, with additional remuneration provided.
