Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year
Requirements: We require a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.We require 5–7 years of experience in IT management.We require experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.We require excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.We require strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.We require excellent project management skills and a strong ability to prioritize.We require a firm grasp of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.We require experience across desktop operating systems, server operating systems, cloud-based technologies, SaaS solutions, mobile platforms, backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring.We require experience with hardware solutions including Cisco Switches/Routers, Meraki/Palo Alto Firewalls, Meraki Wireless Access Points, and Cisco Unified Communications.We require expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing solutions.We require proven leadership skills.We require strong creative and analytical thinking.Professional certifications are preferred, including A+, Network+, CCNA, or MCP.Extensive knowledge of network maintenance and experience managing staff are preferred.Knowledge of the art industry is a plus. Responsibilities: We lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.We maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.We own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.We handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.We research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.We track and maintain hardware and software inventory.We monitor the performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels and recommend improvements to the IT infrastructure.We help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.We analyze business requirements with key stakeholders to develop solutions for IT needs.We assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.We troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.We supervise daily operations of network and server infrastructure.We align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.We evaluate risk and develop network recovery and backup processes.We assess and purchase new and replacement hardware.We test, troubleshoot, and adjust information systems to operate effectively.We implement security for the network, data, and its storage and communication systems.We ensure network components meet business needs and work together seamlessly.We train employees on software and hardware, provide technical support, and troubleshoot when needed.We develop and execute disaster procedures and maintain data backups.We manage information technology and computer systems.We identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.We preserve assets, information security, and control structures.We provide systems administration and support across network and server environments. We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer with OKTA to support our employee population, analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide IT-related training. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Central London with some remote working possible. The salary is competitive at circa 45K–60K.
