Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year
Requirements: A degree in computer science, information technology, software development, telecommunications engineering or a related disciplineAt least one year of computer science or software development experience, gained through graduate study or, ideally, industryCommitment to continuous learning, active contribution and rapid adaptation in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative working styleA strong interest in scientific, technological and engineering challenges, particularly those involving software, telecommunications and programming languagesIndustry or university experience delivering software projects and addressing the limitations of the technologies usedAbility to quickly understand new software technologies and concepts, including platforms, application programming interfaces (APIs) and frameworks, discuss them confidently in depth, and apply strong commercial awarenessStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with technical professionals and summarise complex information conciselyExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work first timeAn interest in project and company finances and their tax treatmentPrevious R&D tax experience is not necessary but is advantageousTeam player; ability to integrate with new teams quicklyOutgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output Responsibilities: Work as an effective member of a project team, exhibiting strong communication skills and collaborating with team members of different skill setsWrite compelling technical project reports to highlight the key technical factors of client projects and support R&D tax claimsInteract with clients senior technical, development and engineering staff to develop a comprehensive understanding of the projects undertaken and identify how aspects of projects meet the R&D GuidelinesUndertake data analysis and calculation to quantify project expenditureApply advanced problem-solving skills and critical thinking to project execution and deliveryBuild and maintain relationships with clients to provide high levels of client serviceDeliver high-quality advice and solutions to major clients, ensuring management of risk and reputationAdapt and flex existing knowledge to different sectors and build on core capabilitiesJoin and lead interviews with senior technical personnel across a wide range of industries to identify the scientific and technological aspects of client R&D projects that qualify for R&D tax reliefActively contribute to report writing, analyse the financial aspects of clients R&D projects, and communicate regularly with clientsSupport business development opportunities and cross-sector claims Technologies: SupportAINetwork More:
