Salary: £44,000 - 76,000 per year
Requirements: We need someone who can develop and design secure solutions and produce Security Design documentation covering the controls.We need someone who can deconstruct a solution or network architecture.We need someone who can identify and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities associated with proposed solutions and evaluate the soundness of solutions using industry-standard practices such as STRIDE and MITRE.We need someone who can interpret threats into risks and help the business assess likelihood and impact.We need someone who can communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.We need someone who can produce and articulate Security Designs to all stakeholders within the project and business.We need someone comfortable weighing the risks and benefits of competing security design options.We need someone comfortable working on multiple challenging projects simultaneously.Awareness of industry-related security standards such as ISO 27000 series, PCI DSS, COBIT, NIST, and OWASP would be useful.Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent would be useful.Experience of public and/or private cloud environments would be useful. Responsibilities: We design secure solutions and document the security controls in Security Design deliverables.We deconstruct solution and network architectures to assess security considerations.We identify and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities in proposed solutions.We interpret threats into risks and support the business in assessing likelihood and impact.We communicate security concepts and design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.We present Security Designs to project and business stakeholders.We evaluate competing security design options and help determine the most appropriate approach.We work across multiple challenging projects in an agile environment.We help ensure security by design is embedded across our change portfolio.We contribute to shaping our Security Strategy and support the Chief Security Office as we build the bank of the future.
