Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year
Requirements: We require BTEC National or higher, or 3 A levels.We require a relevant IT or other science degree, or degree-level experience.We require strong development and integration skills, including JavaScript, C#, TSQL and XML/JSON.We require experience with system integration and data transfer protocols.We value experience with web services such as SOAP and RESTful JSON, FHIR and HL7.Experience in message transformation and use of an integration engine would be desirable.Rhapsody certification (Professional or Associate) would be desirable.Source control experience, for example Microsoft TFS, would be desirable.Knowledge of clinical processes in secondary, tertiary and primary healthcare environments would be desirable. Responsibilities: We design, develop, test and support integrations that enable secure exchange of information across clinical and corporate systems.We create integration solutions using Rhapsody, HL7, FHIR, REST services, XML and JSON.We lead technical delivery on integration projects, ensuring solutions are robust, reliable and aligned to best practice.We investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues to help maintain high service availability.We create and execute test plans, support releases and contribute to continuous improvement.We work closely with stakeholders, translating requirements into effective solutions.We provide technical leadership, peer review and mentoring to support team development.We contribute to standards, processes and documentation to improve quality and consistency. These integrations help ensure that the right information is available to the right people, supporting better decisions, smoother services and reduced risk across the Trust. We are looking for a Senior Integration Programmer to join our specialist IT Services team, working with technologies including Rhapsody, HL7, FHIR, XML, JSON and REST services.
