Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experienceExperience building and designing distributed and scalable software in general-purpose languages such as Java, Go, or C++Driven, self-starting personality with peer leadership and initiativeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in Python is desired but not requiredExperience in distributed and/or highly concurrent systems is desired but not requiredExperience in low-latency systems and/or high transaction environments is desired but not requiredExperience working in collaborative environments is desired but not requiredExperience with relational databases is desired but not required2 to 5+ years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining highly optimized, scalable code Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain our proprietary, low-latency trading systems and infrastructureProduce trading tools that leverage all aspects of our high-performance systemImprove the scalability and performance of our trading infrastructureUnderstand future business needs and design technical solutions to meet these demandsHandle a wide variety of projects, from frontend-facing projects to backend infrastructure, in different programming languagesDesign and develop our front-to-back trading infrastructure, including order management, exchange connectivity, smart order routing, internalisation, and clearingBuild software within existing trading systems and improve infrastructure efficiency Technologies: BackendFrontendSupportJavaPython More:
