Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year
Requirements: User-centered, systems-oriented approach to product design, able to translate user needs into scalable designs leveraging existing functionality where possible and designing additional features where neededAbility to prototype designs individually and in collaboration with UX teams to deliver a quality user experienceExtensive experience in product management or product ownership delivering enterprise platforms, data products, or regulated technology capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to develop product strategy and roadmaps, and translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and outcomesStrong knowledge of data concepts including reference data, taxonomies, metadata, data quality, and data governance/stewardshipStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across business, UX, engineering, and governance teamsExperience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum/Kanban) with strong backlog management disciplineExperience with enterprise reference data/taxonomy management tooling, such as EBX or similar, is preferredFinancial services and/or capital markets data experience is preferredExperience defining product standards and operating models that improve onboarding, consistency, and usability at scale is preferred Responsibilities: Define and maintain a clear product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for taxonomy and reference data capabilities aligned to CIB prioritiesEstablish outcomes and success metrics such as adoption, onboarding efficiency, data quality improvements, and user experience enhancementsLead discovery for new capabilities and enhancements, including customer interviews and workshops, problem framing, and option analysisPartner with UX and Engineering to design intuitive workflows and journeys, ensuring solutions are scalable and consistentDrive standard data models and taxonomy patterns, including hierarchies, relationships, attribute standards, naming conventions, and metadata expectationsEnsure designs support governance needs and consistent downstream consumption across tenants and consumer groupsDefine and maintain product documentation and process standards, including feature documentation, onboarding materials, operating procedures, and decision logsImprove repeatability of product processes such as requirements capture, design reviews, and change management in partnership with DeliveryLead engagement for complex consumer and tenant requirements and onboarding scenarios, translating needs into product patterns rather than one-off solutionsProvide guidance on edge cases and prioritise enhancements that strengthen the core productWork with the Product Delivery sub-team to translate strategy into clear epics, stories, acceptance criteria, and release-ready scopeSupport refinement, prioritisation forums, and stakeholder communications to enable effective execution Technologies: SupportKanbanProduct OwnerUX UI Design More:
As a Vice President Product Owner in the Data Taxonomies Product Strategy team, we shape and drive the strategic evolution of the Reference Data as a Service (RDaaS) Platform and its taxonomy and reference data capabilities.
