Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year
Requirements: We need 3-5 years of relevant software development experience building and shipping high-quality software.We need strong proficiency in Python and deep understanding of either frontend development with TypeScript and React or backend development with Go.We need proven experience working on AI-enabled or Generative AI solutions, preferably in an enterprise setting.We need hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and event-driven architectures.We need a solid understanding of distributed systems, resiliency patterns, scalability, and performance engineering.We need knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as API design and integration patterns.We need strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.We need a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Desirable experience includes financial services or other regulated industries.Desirable experience includes contributions to open-source projects.Desirable experience includes MLOps and deployment of machine learning models. Responsibilities: We will build impactful GenAI solutions and contribute to the design and delivery of our new GenAI platforms.We will shape the technical direction of our full-stack ecosystems across frontend, backend, APIs, cloud services, and platform components.We will collaborate with technology and business partners to align our application strategy with organisational priorities and deliver key business projects.We will promote and apply DevSecOps principles, engineering best practices, and a culture of continuous improvement.We will support the adoption of our developer platforms, automation capabilities, and enterprise engineering standards.We will mentor and advise other team members, using our judgment and autonomy to drive projects forward.
