Salary: £47,000 - 87,000 per year
Requirements: 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or a related field, with at least 3+ years in AWS cloud environments.Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and resource management for AWS EKS clusters.Strong understanding of AWS core services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.Strong knowledge of configuring and maintaining Splunk and Datadog.Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.Hands-on experience managing and operating EKS cluster environments.Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio and integration with Kubernetes.Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with Jenkins or similar tools.Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation and troubleshooting.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience implementing day-2 operations such as upgrades, backup and restore, and cost optimization.Knowledge of container security best practices and tools.Knowledge of creating Helm charts.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools using OpenTelemetry.Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning for cloud environments.AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, AWS Security, or DevOps Engineer are a plus.
