About this role

Salary: £37,000 - 77,000 per year

Requirements: We need hands-on experience administering D365 F&O via Lifecycle Services, including environment management, deployments, and hotfix/package application.We need working knowledge of X++ and the F&O build pipeline, including Azure DevOps and Git-based repositories.We need experience managing source control, branching strategies, and release processes using Git.We need familiarity with Microsoft Dev Box and Power Platform Admin Center for developer environment provisioning.We need strong Azure fundamentals, including Azure SQL, storage, networking, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.We need experience with storage management and cost/storage reduction initiatives within Azure/D365 environments.We need experience with F&O data integration patterns such as OData, DIXF, or middleware like Patchworks or Logic Apps.We need incident management and on-call experience in a live ERP environment.We need understanding of finance and operations business processes, enough to triage functional versus technical issues.We need strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.Desirable: prior Shopify Plus or retail/ecommerce integration experience.Desirable: Microsoft certifications such as MB-500, MB-700, or Azure equivalents.Desirable: experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.Desirable: experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Bicep or Terraform. Responsibilities: We manage D365 F&O environments through Lifecycle Services, including sandbox refreshes, environment provisioning, and configuration.We own environment upgrades and quality updates, ensuring platform releases are tested and applied without disrupting business operations.We build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git for F&O, including X++ build automation and package deployment.We automate solution and package deployments across environments.We manage source control, branching, versioning, and release processes.We monitor and troubleshoot F&O performance issues, including batch jobs, SQL/Azure SQL performance, and overall environment health.We develop proactive monitoring, alerting, and operational documentation, driving continuous improvement through automation.We manage data integrations between F&O and downstream systems such as Shopify Plus, Patchworks, or equivalent middleware.We manage D365 environment refreshes and data movement.We own and manage storage reduction across the D365 environment estate.We support month-end and quarter-end processing windows and coordinate planned maintenance.We own access governance and security roles within F&O.We act as the escalation point for P1/P2 incidents affecting finance and operations systems.We drive improvements to developer environments using Power Platform Admin Center Dev Boxes in place of traditional VMs.We maintain clear documentation of environment configuration, releases, and incident resolutions.We contribute to a positive team environment and a consistently high standard of service.
