Salary: £33,000 - 73,000 per year
Requirements: We require experience designing or implementing distributed system architectures.We require experience as a technical architect or technical lead.We require excellent problem solving and decision making skills.We require experience working within an agile methodology.We consider architecture-related qualifications such as TOGAF desirable.We consider experience and knowledge of software engineering technologies such as Java or C# desirable.We consider experience with multiple database technologies, including relational databases and document databases desirable.We consider cloud architecture experience or qualifications desirable. Responsibilities: We partner with business and technology stakeholders to run discovery, clarify ambiguous requirements, and translate them into clear functional and non-functional requirements.We enable delivery and governance, collaborating with engineers to produce a detailed roadmap.We define observability requirements, including metrics, logs, and traces.We participate in design reviews and architecture review boards.We shape and document solution architectures.We produce target-state and integration designs aligned to industry best practice.We design proofs of concept to test solutions for future services.We work with internal groups, third parties, and external suppliers.
