Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year
Requirements: Proven extensive knowledge of Azure and best practices in Azure security.Background in infrastructure, network administration, or DevOps.Proficiency in coding languages.Extensive proven working experience of maintaining vulnerability management solutions and remediating system vulnerabilities.Experience configuring and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.Experience with Zero Trust networking principles.Experience with SD-WAN technologies.Extensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure, AWS, and other cloud computing technologies.Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and under pressure, as well as part of a wider team.Effective time management skills.Proven knowledge of managing and maintaining cybersecurity products.Strong knowledge of security best practices and industry standards such as CIS and ISO27001.ITIL foundation certification or knowledge of ITIL processes.Willingness to work weekends as required.Meticulous attention to detail.Willingness to travel to other offices as required.Desirable: knowledge of Azure tools including AKS, Azure Functions, and IAC tools such as Terraform.Desirable: experience with network application load balancing products such as F5 or equivalent.Desirable: knowledge and hands-on experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain our network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.Deploy and create scalable cloud solutions in collaboration with development teams using Azure services.Design cloud architecture that aligns with our organisation strategies, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.Create and maintain solution documentation for cloud network security.Manage and maintain our vulnerability management solutions and remediate vulnerabilities in line with our policies.Ensure that infrastructure is patched in line with our patching policy and change schedule.Troubleshoot and fix server edge connect-related issues, recording all troubleshooting steps and information in our IT Service Management tool.Provide advanced technical support to other department teams.Ensure systems and services are proactively monitored using the tools utilised by our IT Department.Liaise with vendors and external partners.Ensure all systems and services have adequate business continuity and disaster recovery protection in place.Ensure all configurations are backed up in line with our backup policy.
