Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year
Requirements: Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or RustRelevant experience in software development, systems engineering, SRE, or DevOps rolesKnowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsPractical understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (host networking, storage, Linux operating systems)Experience of designing, developing, or operating cloud services running on AWS or another cloud platformExperience with Python Responsibilities: Identify and solve challenging systems, process, and tooling issues to improve outcomes for our customersDesign and implement new software components, products, or services that improve operational efficiencyInvestigate technical issues thoroughly, perform root cause analysis, identify changes to procedures and systems, and implement long-term fixes to avoid repeating issuesProvide solutions to technically challenging real business problems in a global organizationMaintain and improve our teams services end-to-endTroubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues that arise within our systemsDesign and implement testing, monitoring, and validation improvements across services, tools, and infrastructureEnable continuous deployment of new versions with minimal interruptionProactively identify areas to invent, refine, and develop automation and tools to reduce manual operations across teamsMake pragmatic trade-offs to fulfill both current and future requirements of the business and our customers Technologies: AWSC#CloudDevOpsGolangHTTPJavaLinuxNetworkPythonRubyRustTCP/IPSupportSecurity More:
